Who we are
Second Chance Collectibles of Texas ([Legal business name], "we," "us") runs this website and sells sports cards, trading card game cards, sealed product and supplies. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, order details, messages you send us, and anything you submit through the Sell to Us form, including photos of your cards.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Square. We do not see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. Essential cookies collect some of this. Analytics and marketing cookies collect more, and only if you allow them (see the Cookie policy).
How we use it

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the store: Square (checkout, payments and our product catalog), Cloudflare (website hosting), Shippo and the shipping carriers USPS, UPS and FedEx (to ship your order), and our email provider. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies at this time. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Order records: 7 years for tax and accounting. Sell to Us submissions that don't result in a purchase: 12 months. Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.

Depending on where you live, including under Texas law, you may have the right to:

This site doesn't create customer accounts; you check out as a guest through Square. To have your information deleted, send a request below. We'll keep only the order records we're legally required to keep.
We treat a browser's Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of non-essential cookies.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it. People under 18 may only sell cards to us with a parent or guardian completing the submission.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and checkout runs over an encrypted connection on our e-commerce platform. No system is perfectly secure.

Agreement
By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy policy, our Refunds & returns policy and our Shipping policy.
Who can buy
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, to place an order.
Product descriptions
Graded cards. The grade on a slab is the opinion of the grading company that issued it. We are not affiliated with PSA, Beckett (BGS) or CGC. You can check each cert number on the grader's website.
Raw cards. Condition (NM, LP, MP, HP) is our good-faith opinion using the guide on our site. Photos of singles show the exact card you'll receive.
Sealed product. Sold factory sealed. Pack and box contents are random. We make no promise about what you'll pull.
Prices and errors
Prices are in US dollars. Texas sales tax and shipping are added at checkout. If an item is listed at the wrong price or sells elsewhere before your order processes, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Shipping and risk of loss
Once the carrier scans your package, the risk of loss passes to you unless you purchased shipping insurance. See our Shipping policy and Refunds & returns policy.
Payment
Payment is due at checkout through our payment processor. We may cancel orders that look fraudulent.
Authenticity
If a recognized grading company finds a card we sold you is not authentic within 30 days of delivery, we'll refund the full purchase price when the card is returned.
Trademarks
Player, team, league, game, card company and grading company names belong to their owners. We use them only to describe the products we sell and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Using the site
Don't misuse the site, for example by scraping it, interfering with checkout, or submitting false information.
Disclaimers and limits
Collectible values go up and down. We make no promise about a card's future value. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item involved.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Texas law. Disputes will be handled in the courts of [County] County, Texas.

Refunds & returns

Graded cards
Return within 14 days of delivery for a refund, as long as the slab is uncracked and unaltered and the cert number matches our listing. You pay return shipping unless we made a mistake.
Raw singles
If a card arrives in worse condition than we listed, we'll refund the card and your shipping. For any other reason, you can return a card in the same condition within 14 days for a refund.
Sealed product
Returnable within 14 days only if the product is unopened with its factory wrap intact. Opened product can't be returned, and we can't refund based on what was pulled.
Supplies
Unused supplies can be returned within 30 days.
Damaged or lost packages
Email us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the package and the item, or contact us if tracking shows no movement for 10 days. If you added shipping insurance, we'll file the claim and refund or replace the item. Without insurance, we'll open a trace with the carrier and help however we can, but we can't refund packages lost or damaged after the carrier has them.
How to start a return
Email [support@yourdomain.com] with your order number, the item, and photos if it's a condition or damage issue. We'll send return instructions. Please don't ship anything back before you hear from us.
Refund timing
We refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the return. Your bank may take a few more days to post it.
Cancellations
You can cancel for a full refund any time before your order ships.

Processing time
Orders ship from Selma, Texas within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays ship the next business day.
Shipping rates
Every order ships from Selma, Texas with USPS, UPS or FedEx, whichever suits the package. Choose your option in the cart; the price is shown before you pay.
Envelope, $1.50: raw-card orders under $20 only, penny sleeve and toploader in a rigid envelope, no tracking
Tracked shipping, $5.00: every order of $20 or more and every slab up to $250
Boxed tracked shipping, $8.00: any order with a slab over $250
Signature, $4.40: added to every order over $750
Delivery dates are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Every order of $20 or more ships with tracking, and graded cards and sealed product always ship with tracking. Every card ships in a rigid toploader or slab.
How we pack
Raw singles: penny sleeve, toploader and team bag, between cardboard.
Slabs up to $250: slab sleeve between cardboard or in a small box, inside two bubble mailers.
Slabs over $250: slab sleeve between cardboard, then packed in a box so it can't shift.
Signatures
Orders over $750 require a signature on delivery. The signature fee is shown as its own line in your cart and at checkout.
Insurance
Shipping insurance is optional. You can add it in your cart or at checkout, and the price is based on your order value. It isn't available on untracked envelopes. If you don't add insurance, the order ships at your risk once the carrier scans it.
Where we ship
We ship within the United States. International shipping is not available at this time. Please check your address at checkout. We're not responsible for packages sent to an address entered incorrectly.

Off unless you turn them on. They let us measure ads and show you ads on other sites. Providers: none at this time.
Your choices
Change your choice any time with the button, which also appears in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a "no" to analytics and marketing cookies.
Sell-to-us terms

Who can sell
You must be 18 or older. Sellers under 18 need a parent or guardian to complete the submission and accept payment.
Ownership and authenticity
By submitting, you confirm you own the cards and they are authentic and unaltered. We don't buy counterfeit, trimmed, recolored or stolen items. We may report suspected stolen property to law enforcement.
Estimates and final offers
The numbers we send after reviewing your submission are estimates, not offers. They assume the cards match your description and photos.
Once your cards arrive, we inspect every raw card in hand using our condition guide (Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played) and record a video when we open your package. Graded cards are valued at the grade on the slab. Our in-hand condition assessment determines the final offer.
We send the final offer within 3 business days of receiving your cards, with a note on any card graded lower than described. You can accept the final offer or decline it. If you decline, we return your cards within 3 business days. Who pays for return shipping depends on why:
We lowered the offer because a card's condition didn't match your description: we pay return shipping.
The final offer matched our estimate and you decline it anyway: you pay return shipping. We'll send a payment link for the label before we ship, or you can pick your cards up locally.
Nothing is purchased, and no payment is made, until you accept the final offer.
Your cards while we have them
Until you accept a final offer, your cards remain your property. We store them securely and return them in the same condition they arrived in.
Payment
We pay within 2 business days after you accept the final offer, by PayPal, Zelle or check. For payouts over $500, we may ask for a government-issued ID.
Shipping your cards
For accepted offers over $100, we'll send a prepaid, insured shipping label.
Your information
We use your submission and photos only to evaluate and buy your cards, as described in our Privacy policy.
